What makes SummaUp different from other high-end online fitness programs?
In a post-pandemic world where people had adopted healthy new routines into their busy, isolated lives, online fitness quickly took off. In general, people appreciate the flexibility online exercise allows. In many ways, online fitness is even more suited to a high net worth audience owing to their particularly demanding schedules and even their unique considerations of privacy and personal safety.
SummaUp was developed with the unique needs of this high net worth audience in mind. Moreover, SummaUp is a program developed by Dr. Ryan, who is a physician, bodybuilder and former personal trainer. Consequently, SummaUp was created with a deeper understanding of medicine, fitness and people. Furthermore, Dr. Ryan is passionate about exploring and adopting the very best of today’s latest advancements in medicine and fitness. We strongly believe this makes SummaUp safer and more effective.
Does SummaUp come with any guarantees?
Yes. If after 90 days, you are not completely satisfied, we will issue a full refund. The same is true at the one-year mark. Furthermore, if you ever have to wait more than 5 minutes for an appointment, we’ll issue a $100 credit to your account along with our apologies.
How lasting are the changes I’ll see from SummaUp?
SummaUp is intended to optimize your body through positive, healthy changes in lifestyle. Exactly how long these changes last is largely a matter of education and lifestyle. Generally though, once clients start to see and appreciate the positive changes proper diet, exercise and nutrition can make, they adopt these measures and their benefits for the long term.
I had lab work done recently. Can you accept it?
No. We take a more comprehensive posture on lab testing and results that goes far beyond what is typically included in an annual check-up with a primary care physician (PCP), executive health specialist or endocrinologist. Our team creates a customized lab panel based on your individual physiology measured quarterly. Consequently, we not only require more testing, but highly sensitive tests with granularity that exceeds the capabilities of many labs. This data, in combination with one-on-one counseling with the medical provider, is used to develop a comprehensive lab report and a customized treatment plan.
What biomarkers does SummaUp check during the lab testing?
Compared to mainstream medicine, we assume a more comprehensive posture on your health data and track more than 80 biomarkers. Further, while most biomarker ranges are focused on diagnosing disease, our objective is to identify optimal levels for peak performance. For example, the traditional ‘normal’ range for vitamin D is 30-100 ng/ml, however, for performance, research suggests 80-120 ng/ml is more optimal. Our diagnostics aren’t just a snapshot of your health; they are an ongoing analysis of your projected peak levels across the board and how to achieve them.
Is SummaUp HIPAA-compliant?
Yes. Our tech stack is fully HIPAA-compliant, consistent with the highest standards in data encryption found in a modern medical practice.
At what point does my relationship with SummaUp end?
SummaUp is designed to create measurable progress in 12 weeks. But the bigger picture is the more time you spend with SummaUp, the more progress you make, success begets success and like an investment each right decision compounds. Typically, clients can see a complete body transformation within 24 weeks. Many find themselves adopting lifelong practices, Some even appreciate the structure of the program to the point where they withdraw, then later return. We welcome clients to fit SummaUp into their busy lives as their schedule allows.

How long does it typically take to fulfill a supplement or therapeutic order?
Ordering a supplement or therapeutic is simple from the perspective of a SummaUp client. You make the call or send an email, and your part is done. What you may not realize is the complex set of actions this initiates behind the scenes, involving multiple departments at multiple companies.
First, we review the order for accuracy, then manually submit it to the pharmacy. If your order is being fulfilled with multiple pharmacies, our staff has to log into each pharmacy portal and submit the order.
Next, our clinical staff must review your prescription and sign off on its release to you at the pharmacy. If your order is being fulfilled with multiple pharmacies, your clinical lead has to log into each pharmacy portal and approve the orders. Dr. Ryan is also working with clients during the day and typically approves orders once a day.
Finally, your order is processed by a pharmacy partner or fulfillment center. Depending on the size and complexity of your order, it can take up to 48 hours to prepare your medications. Once your order is complete, it must then be reviewed and approved by a pharmacist who oversees the order. Your order then undergoes one final final inspection by the shipping department before it’s boxed up and sent to you.
When I order a supplement or therapeutic, who ships my order?
Our fulfillment partners are US-based 503A/503B FDA-approved and audited compounding pharmacies. Unlike a retail pharmacy, a compounding pharmacy actually makes your medications on-site once the order is received. They do not just take an item off the shelf to fill the order. This process allows us to customize dosage, potency and delivery specifications, while ensuring the accuracy of it all.
Do I need to have training experience?
No, there is no prior training experience required. It does not matter if you have never done resistance training in the past or even exercised before. We work with all different levels of experience and will develop a suitable plan for your needs.
Suppose you have never done any exercises before. In that case, our custom app will help you. It shows you videos step-by-step of how to do the exercises, so you have the proper form, technique and get educated on what each exercise is targeting.
This is what makes us different. We work hard to tailor everything we do with you to your unique lifestyle, goals, and personal challenges.
I have lower back pain, knee pain and joint issues. Can you still coach me?
Many of our clients experience these exact issues. Our ability to help you depends on the intensity of the discomfort you’re experiencing, your current treatment plan, the medications you’re taking, and, finally, your goals. Nonetheless, our programs are fully personalized, so when you tell us about any issues, we consider those in building our program for you. This will be discussed in our initial call, and we will be able to assess whether we can approve you for the UberHuman program and the approach we will take our your condition.
I have high cholesterol levels and high blood pressure, can you still coach me?
Most of our clients due to being overweight (exclusions can apply) they, are experiencing these health issues. Before the official start of the UberHuman program, we will develop a plan that is going to balance your cholesterol levels and blood pressure based off our initial call and the initial lab testing. On our initial call, we will dive deep into the problem, and we will be able to tell you the actions we will take to solve these issues.
I suffer from diabetes. Can you still coach me?
We specialize in helping clients with diabetes. We will design a plan that reduces your A1C levels and for you to understand more how your blood sugar numbers work. Our goal is to make sure you control diabetes, and I can confidently tell you that we had clients that managed to reverse it. Obviously, it depends on which stage of diabetes you’re in and what type of diabetes you have.
On our initial call, we will explore your issues and begin the process of forming a plan.
